1. Agreement
These Terms of Use are an agreement between you and ChowSense Limited. By accessing or using ChowSense, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. The service
ChowSense provides recipe discovery, meal planning, shopping support, saved content, offline cooking tools, AI-assisted cooking guidance, and related features. Features may change, be temporarily unavailable, or vary by region, device, account, or subscription.
3. Accounts
You are responsible for accurate account information, keeping your credentials secure, and activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission. You may not use the service where doing so would violate applicable law.
4. Cooking and health disclaimer
Recipes, nutrition information, meal plans, shopping suggestions, and AI responses are general information for personal cooking support. They are not medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or a substitute for professional advice. Always check ingredients, allergens, quantities, preparation instructions, and food safety for your circumstances.
5. Acceptable use
Use ChowSense lawfully and responsibly. Do not attempt unauthorised access, interfere with the service, misuse another person's account, infringe rights, upload unlawful or harmful material, reverse engineer the service except where law permits it, or distribute malicious code or spam.
6. Your content
You retain ownership of content you submit or save. You grant ChowSense a limited licence to host, process, display, and use that content as necessary to operate, secure, and improve the service. You are responsible for having the rights and permissions needed for content you submit.
7. Subscriptions and payments
Subscription prices, billing periods, features, and renewal details are shown before purchase. Subscriptions purchased through Apple or another app platform are also governed by that platform's terms, payment rules, cancellation process, and refund policies. Manage a platform subscription through the platform where you purchased it. We may change prices or features prospectively with appropriate notice where required.
8. Intellectual property
ChowSense and its software, branding, design, original content, and related materials are owned by or licensed to ChowSense Limited. These terms grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service.
9. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary to protect users, the service, our rights, or to comply with law. Provisions that by their nature should continue after termination will continue.
10. Disclaimers and liability
To the extent permitted by law, ChowSense is provided as available and without guarantees that it will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every purpose. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
